Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge

Originally built in 1905, the main house of the lodge still retains many of its original features and ornamental design with long colonial verandas stretching across the front of the house; the perfect spot to sit and watch the lake, monkeys, forest, and enjoy the grandeur of Mount Kilimanjaro. Furnished with stone benches and leather cushions, the lodge provides modern comforts amid antiques commemorating Tanzania’s German colonial past.

Asilia's Oliver's Camp

In the main area, deep leather sofas invite you to relax and watch the restless wilderness beyond. Come nightfall, meals are taken communally in the dining room. Whiskies are poured around the campfire and safari tales told late into the night.

Oliver’s 10 en-suite safari tents epitomize bush elegance in a spectacular setting: blood-red leather armchairs match the ochre soils beyond the canvas walls, and headboards are hand-carved from African mahogany. All suites come complete with flushing toilets and spacious outdoor showers, and private verandas have magnificent views of the horizon punctuated by the silhouettes of the ever-present baobab trees. Accommodation includes one family tent (sleeps four) and a honeymoon suite.

Asilia's Namiri Plains Camp

For 20 years, the grasslands of the Eastern Serengeti were closed to tourists to allow the cheetah population to replenish itself. Today, this is big-cat territory, where cheetah roam the area in pursuit of prey, and lion and leopard hunt undisturbed.

With your closest neighbor over an hour’s drive away, the Namiri Plains Camp offers expansive views, serious comfort, exceptional privacy, and unrivaled sightings of apex predators for an exclusive and action-packed safari experience. The camp – named in Conde Naste Traveler's Hot List, Travel & Leisure's It List, and The Times "Top 20 Safari Camps in Africa" – is elegant, contemporary and blissfully comfortable. In the mess tent, sink into one of the elegant sofas and watch the wildlife roaming over the surrounding plains or relax in the outdoor seating area under the shade of the giant acacias. In the evening, guest gather to recount the day’s adventures beside the camp fire before dinner is served in the spacious dining tent or under a glittering canopy of stars.

Accommodation at Namiri Plains is nothing short of superb. This small and exclusive haven comprises eight elegant tented suites with sweeping 360-degree views of the plains. The king-sized beds fitted with crisp black and white linens are seriously comfortable. Spacious en-suite bathrooms have flushing toilets and hot running water in both the indoor and outdoor showers (note: the views from here are irresistible).

Serian Serengeti North Camp

Named the 2018 Best Safari Guiding Team in Tanzania, the Best Safari Guiding Team in All fo Africa, and runner up for the best camp design by The Safari Awards - Serian’s Serengeti is a mobile camp, whose movement is governed by the wildebeest migration. From mid-June to mid-November, the camp – along with 1.6 million gnus – are situated in the far north of the Serengeti plains. The beauty of the Northern Serengeti is found in the heart of the river crossings. The camp is set a mere 2 kilometres from the Mara River, within minutes of the major crossing points.
